Azala and Océane

As promised, here is the finished piece that I showed progress shots of previously.

This piece along with another called Océane, is for an upcoming group show in May called "The Art of Cirque du Soleil".

The work is based on Azala a character from "Dralion" and is the goddess of air who is dressed in blue, keeper of the sun and the guardian of immortality. I've tried to stay true to the “East-meets-West” theme implied in the title — the name is a portmanteau of “dragon” (representing the East) and “lion” (representing the West).

I will post a better photo at a later date, once they have both been framed!
Here are some progress shots of the second piece Océane.
